Ms. Maureen Wolf joined McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. in 2022.
Ms. Wolf is an experienced elected school board member and community advocate. Serving on the Tigard-Tualatin, Oregon, School Board from 2009 to 2021, she has led the board in an executive position for five terms as chair and three terms as vice chair. During her time on the board, the Tigard-Tualatin School District has adopted a strategic plan committed to culturally relevant training for staff, closing the achievement gap and increasing graduation rates for all subgroups. Tigard-Tualatin School District led the state in its anti-racist policy development, providing a framework for other districts centered in student voice. In conjunction with the district’s superintendent and CFO, she created a system of program accountability and academic return on investment for district decision making.
Ms. Wolf currently serves on the Northwest Education Service District board of directors where she was elected as the board’s vice chair. As a member of the NWRESD board, Ms. Wolf serves on the Oregon Association of Education Service Districts legislative policy committee. She served on the statewide Oregon School Boards Association Board of Directors representing the Washington County region and providing legislative, financial, and operational oversight to OSBA through 2023. For 2021, Ms. Wolf served as the president for the board and was part of the executive committee for five years, ending December 2022. Ms. Wolf has played a key leadership role in the development and implementation of the statewide OSBA Promise of Oregon campaign. The Promise of Oregon campaign played a critical role in the advocacy campaign to secure funding for the Student Success Act. In 2017, Ms. Wolf was appointed to the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission and served for four and half years representing school boards. She served as chair for the Commission in 2019 and 2020.
Ms. Wolf was elected as councilor for the City of Tigard in 2022 and continues to serve in that position. Maureen has lived in the Tigard community for over 26 years and brings her years of experience in governance and leadership to this role.
Ms. Wolf’s volunteer experience includes serving as co-founder of the community-based food program, Packed With Pride. The program was created when TTSD school buildings were closed due to the pandemic. The program continues providing roughly 1,300 food boxes monthly to families in need. Additionally, she has served as Treasurer/Director of Fundraising for the Election Information Advisory Committee which has successfully passed TTSD district bond and levy measures totaling over $500 million.
Ms. Wolf was employed by the Oregon Business Council/ E3: Employers for Education Excellence as Controller/Project Manager and by Portland Public Schools as a school-to-work liaison. She has a Master of Science degree in Management from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University.
