Dr. Justin B. Henry joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2014.
Dr. Henry has served as Superintendent of USD 265 Goddard Public Schools in Kansas since 2011, leading one of the state’s fastest-growing, high-performing school districts, now serving approximately 6,400 students. During his tenure, he has overseen more than $250 million in facility improvements, managed a $160 million annual budget, established an education foundation with more than $2 million in assets, expanded early childhood and career and technical education opportunities, modernized teacher compensation, and developed strategic planning processes that engage hundreds of community stakeholders.
Before Goddard, Dr. Henry served as Superintendent of Southeast of Saline USD 306 and previously held leadership roles as principal, assistant principal, and science teacher in Ottawa, Kansas. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Ottawa University since 2005.
Dr. Henry earned a Bachelor of Science from Sterling College, a Master of Science from Emporia State University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Kansas.
An active educational leader at the state and national levels, Dr. Henry has served in leadership positions with the American Association of School Administrators, the Kansas School Superintendents’ Association, the Mid-American Association of School Superintendents, and Schools for Fair Funding. He was named the 2021 Kansas Superintendent of the Year and has received numerous leadership and community service honors throughout his career.
