Dr. Doug Wilson joined McPHerson & Jacobson in 2023.
Dr. Doug Wilson served as the Superintendent of Marana Unified School District from July 2008 until retiring in July 2020. He also served as Superintendent of the Agua Fria Union High School District from 2002-2006. Dr. Wilson served in numerous capacities, from teacher, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent during his 39 year career.
Dr. Wilson earned a Masters in Education at Wichita State University and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University.
Dr. Wilson was selected as the 2018 American Association of School Administrators (AASA) National Superintendent of the Year for Arizona by the Arizona School Administrators. He currently serves on the WestEd Board of Directors having been appointed by the Arizona State Board of Education. Dr. Wilson has also served in a variety of capacities throughout the community including President of the Arizona School Administrators Superintendents Division, President of Arizona Interscholastic Association Executive Board, and the Arizona Coalition for Educational Excellence, Vice President of Tucson Values Teachers Board of Directors and member of the YMCA Board of Directors Leadership Committee.
