Mr. Antwan Wilson joined McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. in 2021.
Currently in his 30th year as an educator, Antwan serves as the President of DSST Public Schools in Denver CO. DSST is a STEM focused public charter school network serving over 7500 students grades 6-12. The network serves a racially, ethnically, linguistically, socioeconomic, and gender identity diverse student population and has a strong track record of 100% of students earning admission to four-year colleges and universities. Antwan is responsible for implementing the network’s strategic plan, transformational talent initiatives, school culture programs, and
student affairs efforts, in addition to partnering with the CEO to lead the network, and facilitate the effectiveness of the senior leadership team.
Antwan has degrees from Nebraska Wesleyan University 1995 (Bachelors), Friends University 2000(Masters), and Creighton University 2024 (Doctorate). He served as a K-12 teacher, HS assistant principal, MS and HS principal, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Chancellor, and Professor while working in Nebraska, North Carolina, Kansas, Colorado, California, and The District of Columbia. His career highlights include improving student achievement as a school and system leader across multiple schools and school districts, reducing academic and discipline disproportionality, creating the pathway school model in Denver Public Schools, increasing access to college courses for students in diverse school districts throughout the country, and preparing culturally proficient educators to serve children. Antwan remains extremely passionate about education and helping every student reach their goals.
