Screening Applicants

The consultants at McPherson & Jacobson are experts in recruiting and screening applicants.  When screening candidates we’ll "leave no stone unturned."  When we present final candidates to the board, we know more about them than they would like us to know.  Our reputation as professional recruiters allows us to get information about candidates quicker and in more depth than can individual board members.

Confidentially is of prime concern in our process.  To attract top candidates, we treat all applications with the utmost confidentiality.  Our goal is to help secure the best possible educational leader for every district we represent and to assure the fair and ethical treatment of every candidate.  Applying through a private firm allows candidates’ names to be confidential up until they are selected as a finalist.

If the person selected leaves, for whatever reason, we will repeat the process for no charge except actual expenses.  If the new superintendent becomes ill or disabled or chooses to leave during the guarantee period, we will repeat the search process.
