Dr. William Dean joined McPherson and Jacobson, L.L.C. in 2004.
A 43-year career as an educator began in 1963 as an elementary teacher. Working in Michigan, Colorado, South Dakota and Virginia, Dr. Dean has also served as an elementary principal, high school principal, assistant state commissioner, assistant superintendent and superintendent of schools.
Prior to his retirement in July 2006, Dr. Dean was superintendent in Frederick County, VA, a district of 12,500 students. He was also superintendent in Rapid City, SD and Grand Haven, MI.
Having received his Ph. D. from Michigan State University in 1971, Dr. Dean has done additional post-graduate work in Colorado, South Dakota and Michigan
