Von Lauer joined McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. in 1998. With his entire educational career of 37 years in Kansas, Lauer has served as teacher/coach and vice-principal at Marysville and as high school principal and superintendent in Sabetha.
Currently he is serving as Executive Director of the Wolf River Center, providing staff development activities, grant writing and implementation, and other services for 25 districts in Northeast Kansas.
During his educational career he served as President of the Kansas Association of School Administrators.
His Baccalaureate degree is from Kansas State University and Master's degree is from Emporia State University.
