Dr. Prothro joined McPherson & Jacobson LLC as a consultant in 2002.
Dr. Prothro has been active in education since 1986 as a teacher, principal and superintendent. He served as superintendent of Mt. Vernon-Enola School District from 1997-2002. He served as superintendent of Arkadelphia Public Schools from 2002-2005.
Since 2005 he has been superintendent of Benton Public Schools. He has served on many areas and state committees for the improvement of education for Arkansas' youth.
Dr. Prothro has a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
