Dr. Robert Neely has served as a consultant for McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. since 1998. Currently, Dr. Neely is a professor at the University of Sioux Falls where he heads the Superintendent preparation program. Before coming to Sioux Falls he spent four years as a professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of Wyoming.
Prior to joining the faculty at the University, Dr. Neely served the public schools of Nebraska and South Dakota for 33 years. He was Superintendent of Schools for 14 years in South Dakota’s third largest school district, Aberdeen Public Schools, Aberdeen, SD. Before going to South Dakota, he served two Nebraska Districts as superintendent and Grand Island, Nebraska Senior High School as Vice Principal.
Before becoming a school administrator, Dr. Neely taught social studies in the Wakefield, NE, schools and worked as a counselor in the Lincoln, Nebraska, public schools.
