Dr. Lucas joined McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. in 2006. He currently serves as superintendent of York, Nebraska Public Schools. He also teaches educational leadership courses for the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Benedictine College.
Before becoming the superintendent of schools in York, Nebraska; Dr. Lucas served as superintendent at Franklin, Nebraska; and as elementary principal in West Point, Nebraska and Labette County, Kansas.
He began his career at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where he served as a 3rd grade teacher and high school football and basketball coach.
Dr. Lucas earned his Ed.D at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His M.A. and B.A. were acquired at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.
