Mr. Lester joined McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. as a consultant in 1999. He began his education career teaching secondary science at Humnoke JR/SR High School, Humnoke, Arkansas, after receiving his Baccalaureate degree from the University of Central Arkansas.
In 1969, he began a 30 year career in the Pulaski County School District in Arkansas. He served as junior high and high school principal before becoming Director of Secondary Education and then assistant superintendent. In 1984 he was selected as superintendent of the 30,000-student district, and served in that capacity until his retirement in June of 1999. He was selected as superintendent of the year in Arkansas in 1990.
Mr. Lester received his Master's degree and Education Specialist's degree in Secondary School Administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
